How automation rules work

An automation rule has five parts: Platform, Target, Action & Conditions, Schedule, and Overview.

1. Platform

ou pick which platform (TikTok, Facebook) your rule will be applied to.

2. Target

You select which campaigns, ad sets, or ads the rule affects. You can:

  • Select specific items manually

  • Select automatically based on delivery status or name

3. Action & Conditions

You set when the rule should trigger. For example:

  • CPA is greater than $10

  • ROAS is less than 2

  • Ad spend is greater than $100

You also set the time frame for the condition (today, last 7 days, lifetime, etc.). Then, you set what happens when the condition is met. For example:

  • Pause the ad

  • Increase budget by 20%

  • Send a notification

4. Schedule


You choose when the automation rule runs and how you're notified

5. Overview

Lastely, you preview all the settings of the rule before you create it.

Monitoring

Scalify logs every action an automation rule takes. You can also receive email or Discord notifications.
